Le Transformiste or the Camard complex. Frédéric Camard consults his doctor for vague intestinal pains: bloating, constipation. But before long, the appointment becomes a pretext for a stream of zany confidences. Work, family, memories? As the story unfolds, the narrative goes haywire, roles are reversed and masks fall. In this burlesque tête-à-tête, a transformist reveals himself. A man of many faces, at once a melancholy clown, an everyday Don Quixote and an enigmatic patient. Little by little, the puzzle is put together, and the story takes on the trappings of an interior thriller. But who is Frédéric Camard behind all these faces?
