To mark JEMA 2026, Mortemart, the only village in the Haut-Viennais region to be awarded the "Most Beautiful Villages in France" label, is showcasing the region's talented craftspeople, who will be exhibiting in the historic rooms of the former Augustinian convent. Visitors will be able to familiarize themselves with a wide range of skills: poetry publishing, ceramics, illustration-engraving, micro macramé, upholstery tapestry, rolled paper paintings, metal sculpture, carpentry, cabinet-making and stained glass. Welcoming artists: Olivier Rougerie, Marion Degabriel, Fanny Etienne-Artur, Colette Mandon, Karine Halloucherie, Benjamin Propin, Cathy Deguy, Danièle Ouzeau, Stéphanie Picot and Christophe Royer.
