The Pour la peau exhibition explores the singular place of the animal in the artist?s work. By interacting with the other forms of presence at play in her films - human, plant? -the animal plays a part in shifting the gaze and opening up new perceptions. Through this presence, Julie Chaffort invites us to question our reference points and shift the angle from which we view otherness.
