On June 10, 1944, in a peaceful village in the Limousin region of France, SS soldiers massacred an entire population: 643 women, men and children. Oradour then became a name engraved in history, a silent cry that serves as a constant reminder of the barbarity of dictatorships. Today, actors are taking over from history to pass on the warnings of the past. Through theater, this memory is told and staged, so that the voice continues to resist silence and oblivion.
