Dialogue avec Serge is a lively, free and poetic tribute to Serge Gainsbourg. A musical and literary show that combines revisited songs, texts from his interviews and bursts of classical music. Neither biopic nor imitation, this is an imaginary conversation with Gainsbourg?s soul, recreated through the voice of a narrator who lends him his words, silences and sighs. A singer embodies the many muses of his work: Bardot, Birkin, but also all the women he dreamed of, sang about, sublimated and consumed. Supported by a musician at the crossroads of jazz, pop and chanson, the show alternates between poetic and gritty fragments, fed by real interviews on love, provocation, childhood, ugliness, genius and decline, and musical interpretations of her repertoire.
