In southern Haute-Vienne, in the heart of the Limousin region, 30 km south of Limoges, Les Petites Ruches have found their home in the aptly named village of La Roche l?Abeille! It's a wonderful place, with tall trees, greenery and calm. Here, you can discover the uses of wild plants, and their bio-indicator properties. We offer an intensive course open to all, whether you're a novice or have some knowledge of botany (aged 16 and over). These two days are led by Céline Locqueville, DPLG landscape gardener. (Day 1): Useful plants in our daily lives: let's discover their uses for us humans, and for the insects or birds that are linked to them. (Day 2): Bio-indicator plants: They tell us about the quality of the soil in which they grow, revealing any problems.
