As part of the "Et vogue la BD" festival, attend Gilles Ratier's lecture: French comics in 1944 "Where the real meets the imaginary?
Between 1940 and 1944, Maison de la Bonne Presse, which became Bayard in 1970, relocated to Limoges on rue de l?Observatoire. Like many comic book publishers, it moved to the non-occupied zone. Gilles Ratier will also touch on the history of other publishers present in the unoccupied zone, as well as the story of Le Téméraire, the illustrated magazine for young people under the control of the Nazis, who banned all others, and to which many cartoonists who were not collaborationists contributed.
