Synopsys: One summer evening, Suzanne and her two young children pay an impromptu visit to her sister Jeanne. Jeanne is taken by surprise. Not only have they not seen each other for several months, but Suzanne seems to be absent from herself. When Jeanne wakes up, she is stunned to discover the note left by her sister. Jeanne's shock is replaced by anger when she realizes at the gendarmerie that no search can be made.
