The Association Histoire et Archéologie du Pays de Châlus is organizing the 5th edition of the Salon du Livre Histoire & Terroirs, on Sunday April 26, 2026 from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm at the Salle Polyvalente Louis-Aragon in Châlus (87), with free admission. This one-day event dedicated to regional history, heritage and literature will bring together numerous authors, historians, associations, artists and craftsmen. The guest of honor will be Jean-Guy Soumy, renowned writer of regional novels. At 11:00 a.m., the "Richard C?ur de Lion" prize will be awarded (historical novel and secondary school category), and at 2:30 p.m. historian Philippe Grandcoing will present "L?affaire de Montcigoux". The fair will also welcome Jean-Michel Djian and Pierre Bonte, as well as some thirty authors from the Limousin region and beyond.
