We love its stainless steel pools, relaxation area, fun and sports activities and outdoor pool in summer!
📍The pool is open every afternoon in summer + Sunday mornings.
2. Lake Vassivière
the largest lake in Limousin!It’s the water and nature spot not to be missed during your stay in Saint-Léonard de Noblat, just a 40-minute drive from the medieval city! Spread over 1,000 hectares, Lac de Vassivière offers 5 beaches for you to enjoy the pleasures of the water.
Known as the“Little Canada of Limousin”, this large lake is also ideal for water sports: canoeing, kayaking, sailing… What will you try out? We recommend paddleboat initiations every Wednesday!

3. Bujaleuf beach
Lac de Sainte-HélèneLac de Sainte-Hélène in Bujaleuf is THE family beach for your vacation in Saint-Léonard de Noblat. With its children’s playground, sandy beach and progressive water level, it’s the ideal spot for families.
Hop in the car and in 20 minutes you’ll be at the lake on the Maulde. It’s up to you to decide what you want to do: splash and splash with the kids, picnic in the shade, treat yourself to an ice cream, stretch your calves with a pedal-boat ride, enjoy the evening at the lake’s restaurant…
📍Supervised swimming every day in summer from 1pm to 7pm, except Wednesdays.
4. Saint-Martin-Teressus lake
Overlooking the Monts d'AmbazacStretch out your towel on the sandy beach of the Soleil Levant lake in Saint-Martin Terressus. It’s just a 15-minute drive from Saint-Léonard de Noblat. Enjoy a moment of play, relaxation and swimming on its 2 hectares, with a view over the rolling hills of the Monts d’Ambazac.
Looking for a longer break? The municipal campsite is located on the edge of the lake, along with a service area for motorhomes!

5. Lake Saint-Julien le Petit
An intimate beachLooking for maximum peace and quiet during your dipping session? Head for Saint-Julien le Petit and the Martineix beach! Halfway between Saint-Léonard de Noblat and Lac de Vassivière, this small village offers a bathing lake on the Maulde in the middle of the Limousine mountains.
More isolated and less frequented, it’s appreciated by connoisseurs with a thirst for peaceful, unspoilt natural spaces.
