Why is the Moulin du Got a must-see?

The Moulin du Got is the last remaining example of the important paper-making activity of the Limousin in the 18th century. After its closure, an association was set up with the support of the town to ensure that this ancestral know-how would live on. Former papermakers and printers joined the association and trained volunteers and new employees. In this way, the wonderful adventure of handmade paper is being revived in Saint Léonard de Noblat, and new pages in its history are being written before your very eyes…
