What is the Fishing Accommodation qualification?

The Fishing Accommodation qualification is a nationally recognized tourist accommodation label awarded by the Fédération Nationale de Pêche. The aim is to offer anglers a range of services tailored to their specific needs. Qualification is free and valid for 5 years.

What are the prerequisites for becoming an Fishing Accommodation?

Among the main criteria for this qualification, it is essential to be close to a fishing spot (river and/or body of water) of particular interest to anglers, to be open during the various fishing seasons, and to have a private parking area nearby.
Some services are also required, such as providing documentation and specific equipment for anglers (storage room for tackle, livewell, etc.).

How do I qualify as a Fishing Lodging?

It couldn’t be simpler! Simply contact your local tourist office or the Haute-Vienne Fishing Federation.

A visit, carried out by the Fédération de Pêche and accompanied by the local tourist office and local fishing representatives, will be proposed to you in order to assess your eligibility.
