✅ Overall visitor numbers turned positive from July 20 onwards, but need to be confirmed in August. This was due to a less favorable calendar, with July 14 in particular, which had given rise to an extended weekend in 2023, unlike this year. The French would have been less numerous during the first two weeks of July. Fewer British visitors significantly reduce the share of foreign customers.

✅ Campsites and visitor sites satisfied with business. Tourist offices, sports activities and hotels hope August will live up to expectations.

✅ Unlike some destinations on the Nouvelle-Aquitaine coast, Haute-Vienne suffers less from the decline in tourist purchasing power. Haute-Vienne still enjoys good value for money.
