It's about loving authenticity, going back to basics and something natural. I'd even go so far as to say that Limousin has a slightly wild side to it, and is ultimately the antithesis of "bling-bling".

I’m Vanessa Gay, owner of the gîte les 3 Clefs de GaYa in Saint-Jean-Ligoure.

For 15 years, I worked as a sales assistant, but after overworking in my job, I decided to rethink and change my life.

Initially, my establishment was to be used solely as a holiday home, but after some thought, I decided that it should not be just a source of investment, but rather a full-time activity.

Today, my gîte complements my work as a sophrologist in the heart of the Limousin countryside. It reinforces my focus on well-being and helps promote tourism in the Haute-Vienne region.

The place to be in Haute-Vienne

One place I’d recommend to visitors is the Château de Chalûcet, just 3 kilometers from the gîte, where you can visit the ruins free of charge and on your own.

It’s a place where you can stroll through the forest on the interpretation trail, and relax on the banks of the Ligoure.

What I particularly appreciate about this place is the mix of worlds, which makes it ideal for the sophro-balades I propose.

I’m proud to have had the courage to question myself, and to have taken a 390°C turn to change my life. Today, despite the lack of hindsight, I can measure the work I’ve done, because it’s not easy to leave your whole life behind at 40 and start from scratch.
