We are Heidi and Petri Ven. After some tough times in 2010, we’re now trying to adapt to a world that’s changing faster and faster. At the time, Petri was general secretary in the materials processing sector in Belgium, and Heidi an accountant.

Over the course of many vacations, Limousin became our favorite in 2013. In 2018, we decided to completely change course by building a true haven of peace: a small bed and breakfast.

Les Tranchées Bed and Breakfast offers guests a warm, tranquil atmosphere conducive to rejuvenation. Our little extras include local breakfasts with homemade yoghurt and fresh fruit, and our H-Art workshop, where you can work with clay and reconnect with the earth.

Our B&B is located just a stone’s throw from the Mont Gargan and the former Notre-Dame-de-Bon- Secours chapel. In the past, this place was used as a refuge during difficult times, notably during the French Resistance.

As our guests discover the Mont Gargan trail, we like to share with them the fascinating history of this place, through anecdotes about key figures in our region.
