- Program: welcome and introduction of participants; general presentation of the museum project (cultural, educational and tourism issues); visit of the inaugural exhibition; time for discussion on the challenges and opportunities of such a place for the region; visit of the Tour du Plô.
- The museum: the Musée d’art et d’histoire de la ville de Saint-Yrieix is a multi-purpose cultural venue: it is at once a conservation area for all types of heritage, an exhibition venue for the widest possible audience, and a tool for promoting tourism. At the crossroads of Haute-Vienne, Corrèze and Dordogne, it offers a renewed vision of the extensive heritage of the Pays de Saint-Yrieix community of communes. Then discover the Tour du Plô, the town’s oldest civil monument.
The visit is free and open to all Haute-Vienne tourism service providers.
