The recycling center, commonly known as the “center de tri”, processes recyclable waste from the whole of the Haute-Vienne department and part of Creuse. Visits are a good way to understand how the sorting chain works after garbage can collection, and the importance of sorting your waste correctly!
- Meeting point from 2pm, tour starts at 2:30pm.
- Program: the whole tour lasts around 2 hours. It includes a time for discussion and a theoretical part in the room before the visit to the site itself. Please note: the factory section includes a 6-meter-high platform , which may cause vertigo.
- Instructions: Closed shoes must be worn. The entire site and buildings are non-smoking, except for the vehicle parking area. If you fail to comply with the above safety instructions, the animation team may refuse to allow you to take part in the tour.
- Parking : On the day of your visit, our team will be on hand to guide you. You can park in the visitors’ parking lot or the staff parking lot. Vehicles must park in reverse.
Access to the site is on foot via the gate near the “jardin au naturel” area. To exit the staff parking lot, the barrier will open automatically when a car approaches. Please note: do not drive or walk through the HGV entrances.
The visit is free and open to all Haute-Vienne tourism service providers.
