Worthy of the finest Scottish castles, discover the exceptional Château de Montbrun. Follow our roads to the highest point of Grand Puyconnieux and admire the incredible view over the centuries-old chestnut groves… For hiking enthusiasts, Dournazac is a must on your itinerary.

Come to Flavignac for a stroll through the village or to relax on the beach at Lac Saint-Fortunat. You can also enjoy a spot of fishing or play games with the kids.

The jewel in Janailhac’s crown lies in its heart: the church Saint-Yrieix-et-Saint-Eutrope is home to
frescoes listed as Monuments Historiques. If the sun is shining, stop off in the rose garden to appreciate its old-world charm.

Located to the north of our destination, Lavignac is a pretty little village to discover if you’re
Limoges. Crossed by the Aixette river, take a break to observe our pretty bocages Limousins.

The commune of Les Cars offers an extraordinary diversity of heritage. On its hiking trails, plunge into the heart of nature and discover dolmens and Bonnes Fontaines. In the village, take a tour of the castle ruins and the stables with their frescoes ,the only ones of their kind in France. And don’t miss the chance to see the fallow deer on the hiking trail.

You’ll also love the 3 hiking trails with their sunken paths, and the 3 TRAIL trails starting from the rest area. The château’s reputation has long since spread beyond our borders. Lulled by its history and authentic setting, Rilhac-Lastours is all the more reason to come and discover our region. Just a stone’s throw away, you’ll find the medieval-inspired Jardin de l’An Mil.
