The Vélidéale: a national route just a stone's throw from Saint-Junien

Formerly known by the code name V93, the Vélidéale is the route for nature lovers! From Royère-de-Vassivière (Creuse) to Saint-Nazaire (Loire-Atlantique), it crosses 5 Regional Nature Parks and numerous sensitive areas, at the crossroads of numerous rivers and classified marshes.   • SNCF trains: Saint-Junien, line 18 (Limoges – Angoulême). The TER accepts conventional, VAE and folding bicycles. However, carts and other bulky equipment are not allowed. No reservations or special tickets are required.
  • Cars Nouvelle-Aquitaine: in Haute-Vienne, there is not yet a bicycle rack service on coaches. Customers can put their bicycles in the holds, within the limits of the space available and by removing one or both wheels if necessary.
  • Taxis in Saint-Junien are not equipped to carry bicycles.
