The Porte Océane du Limousin covers 13 communes just 20 minutes from Limoges and 2 hours from Bordeaux. Stop off in the glove-making town of Saint-Junien to take home souvenirs from our leather factory shops. Take time to stroll between culture and nature in Rochechouart, between the castle-museum of contemporary art of Haute-Vienne and the road of remarkable trees… Visit the ruins of the martyred village of Oradour-sur-Glane, a national symbol of Nazi barbarism. We look forward to welcoming you from March to October at our three visitor centres: Oradour-sur-Glane, Rochechouart and Saint-Junien. So, as they say in our Limousin region: Chabatz d’entrar! Finish entering! Our region will not leave you indifferent.
