Salle Polyvalente Rilhac-lastours

A mushroom weekend organized by La Soupape Sauvage!

From 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, come and take part in a variety of mushroom-themed events in Rilhac-lastours.

On the program:

Saturday:

Mushroom-picking walks at 10am and 2.30pm.
Conference on accidental mushroom poisoning at 6pm.

Sunday:

Mushroom-picking tour at 10am.
Mushroom exhibition, with determination key on the ground and guided tour at 3pm.

Les Argentiers in Limoges

Want to cook mushrooms and get a taste of autumn? 👩‍🍳

Come and take part in an autumnal culinary workshop organized by the Chapelle Saint Martin restaurant and dedicated exclusively to mushrooms. 🍄‍🟫

During this workshop, you’ll learn how to sublimate this product through creative and gourmet recipes. The chef will reveal his different techniques for working with mushrooms, and you’ll leave with plenty of tips to impress your guests. 😋

October 26

Mushroom-themed walk in Nieul

Discover mushrooms on two guided walks with commentary by mycologists from the Société de mycologie du Limousin.

These walks are open to the general public, although children remain the responsibility of their supervisors.

The first walk will take place at 9:15 a.m., but the location has yet to be determined.

The second walk will take place around the pond and in the grounds of the Château de Nieul from 2pm.

November 3

Place du général Thoumas in Laurière

Mushroom day organized by the Monts d’Ambazac Nature and Heritage Association and the municipality.

The day begins at 9:15 am at Place de Général Thoumas to organize a car pool for the 9:30 am trip to Lac de Pont-à-l’Âge, guided and commented by SML mycologists.

Lunch will be served at the Salle des Fêtes in Laurière, on reservation. Price and telephone number to be confirmed by the organization.

In the afternoon, a species identification workshop and exhibition will be held in the Laurière village hall (to be confirmed).

Association Le Tiers-Lieu in Magnac-Laval

Discover mushrooms in Magnac-Laval on a nature walk accompanied by SML mycologists. 🚶‍♂️

Surrounded by experts, you can learn more about mushrooms and their specific characteristics. 🍄

To do so, meet at 2pm at the Association Le Tiers-Lieu located 9 place de la République in Magnac-Laval.

This event is open to the general public.

November 16

Mushroom day at Glanges

A day dedicated to mushrooms. 🍄

Join us on Saturday November 16 in Glanges, departing from the cemetery parking lot at 9:15 a.m. for a stroll through the communal forest, guided and commented by SML mycologists.

Around 12:30 pm, the municipality of Glanges and the SML invite you to take a picnic break. Please bring your own picnic. 🎒

In the early afternoon, a species determination workshop is organized, with a sorting of all mushrooms to make an inventory of species for the Atlas de la Biodiversité de Glanges and the national mycological inventory. This workshop will enhance your knowledge of mushrooms. 🍄‍🟫

The picnic and identification workshop will take place in a room at the Maison Mirabeau, where the Agence Postale is located next to the church.

If you wish, you can take part in the morning outing only. 🥾

Moulin de Juriol in Le Palais sur Vienne

A mushroom day in the Anguernaud woods! 🌳

The SML will meet you at 9:15 am at the trout fishing parking lot (Moulin de Juriol) in Le Palais sur Vienne.

Once the group is assembled, you’ll set off at 9:30am for a guided walk with commentary by SML mycologists. 🥾

At lunchtime, the SML invites you to join us for a picnic. You’ll need to bring your own packed lunch. 🎒

The afternoon will be dedicated to species identification. An opportunity for you to learn more about mushroom varieties.
