A quick of a view

1. THE WHITE GOLD of Limousin

Limoges porcelain

When you think of Limoges or Limousin, you inevitably think of porcelain.

You’ll find Porcelaine Bernadaud, Raynaud, Coquet… and many other creative craftsmen and women in our region.

Here are a few ideas: white and decorated tableware, unique collector’s items, litographs, pocket trays, thimbles…

2. The SPORTS gift

CSP Limoges

CSP Limoges became a legend in the French basketball elite when they became European champions in 1993.

How could you not have your own T-shirt in the CSP colors?

And why not give away tickets for a game at Limoges’ beaublanc stadium.

4. THE JEWEL to savor.

La madeleine de Saint-Yrieix

Golden, pot-bellied cakes shaped like scallops. A journeyman confectioner popularized them in Saint-Yrieix in the mid-19th century.

The “Maison Bijou” gradually made Arie’s expertise in this field known throughout the Limousin and beyond.

The traditional madeleine from Saint-Yrieix is made from quality ingredients (flour, butter, sugar, eggs). Preservative-free, it is distinguished by its incomparable softness and bitter almond flavor.

Don’t hesitate to visit our factory outlet and discover all our flavors (plain, chocolate, jam-based, etc.).

Plus: we invite you to discover our madeleine makers, who handcraft our tasty madeleines!

5. LE MASSEPAIN à croquer

Gourmandise des mialétous

A speciality of Saint-Léonard-de-Noblat, this little cookie is made from almonds, sugar and egg whites.

It’s interesting to learn that marzipan was introduced to Saint-Léonard-de-Noblat by a pilgrim from Santiago de Compostela.

It seems that this pilgrim consumed almond-based cookies to give himself energy.

Camille Petitjean then tasted these cookies and took over the recipe. It’s a wonderful story of culinary transmission!

6. The DECO GIFT

In Chestnut

Chestnut is a noble wood, renowned for its durability and strength.

It is known to be rot-proof, making it the material of choice for basketry.

Chestnut objects have stood the test of time and continue to decorate our homes.

From harvesting in the coppices of the Limousin region, to steaming the gaulettes, to braiding the strips, each stage of production is carried out with care in the workshop of VANNERIE DOUMAIN ARTISAN DU CHATAIGNIER, a traditional craftsman.

7. GOODIES from Limoges
