Day 1

Discover Limoges

Have you just arrived at Limoges station?

Perfect, you’re in the right place to start your 4-day road trip with us!

Let’s start with a must: a cool stroll along the banks of the Vienne, to admire the various bridges and landscapes on offer! You’ll love it!

Next, take a bike ride to discover the city’s historic district, the Boucherie, and wander through the streets of the city center before stopping off at the Jardin de l’Evêché for a little break while admiring Saint Etienne’s cathedral 👀

Little tip 💡:

You can stop for lunch at Pont Saint-Etienne for a breathtaking view of the bridge of the same name; enough to treat yourself before getting back on your bike, and what’s more, it’s on the banks of the Vienne River 😉

Day 2

From Aixe-sur-Vienne to Saint-Victurnien

A new day, a new discovery!

Head for Limoges station early in the morning to head for Aixe-sur-Vienne!

You’ll find a QR code available at the station, giving you access to a possible walk around the town: an ideal way to discover the town, its stores and its heritage.

Then board the train again, bound for Saint-Victurnien! Let yourself be surprised by a town that has kept its soul and bears witness to the past.

You can spend the night here and continue your journey the next day 🤗

Little tip 💡:

During this day, enjoy a break at the “les 2 ponts” restaurant in Aixe-sur-Vienne located right next to the train station: you’re sure to enjoy yourself!

Day 3

From Saint-Victurnien to Saint-Junien

Ready for the penultimate day of train rides?

We’re off to Saint-Junien, a town full of character and boasting some incredible architecture, as evidenced by the collegiate church!

Take a walk around the station and discover the banks of the Vienne, a calm and soothing spot in the city!

Little tip 💡 :

Saint-Junien is also renowned for its glove-making, which was in fact showcased by Rihanna during the Superbowl wearing gloves made by Ganterie Agnelle – classy isn’t it? 😎

Day 4

From Saint-Junien to Saint-Léonard-de-Noblat

We leave the town of Saint-Junien for one of France’s Most Beautiful Detours: Saint-Léonard-de-Noblat!

You’ll be amazed by the charm of this town, where half-timbered houses, narrow streets and the collegiate church take center stage!

Little tip 💡:

Go and feast on marzipan, the town’s specialty!

Day 5

From Saint-Léonard de Noblat to Eymoutiers

We’re continuing this final day’s journey from Saint-Léonard-de-Noblat station to Eymoutiers, classified as a Petite Cité de Caractère!

And you won’t be disappointed when you arrive, trust us 😉

Eymoutiers? it’s a little paradise on earth, with charm and detail around every corner!

At the station? Set off on a 3.5 km hike to discover the town’s rich heritage!

From the collegiate church and pretty alleyways to the master tanner’s house and the Pré Lanaud park for a well-deserved break, you’ll be amazed by the warm atmosphere you’ll find there.

Little tip 💡:

Go and feast on the delicious pelauds at the Chou Beurre Pomme bakery; and if you’re not a gourmand, you’re about to become one 🤭
