With line 18 - Angoulême-Limoges

“Ladies and gentlemen, we are arriving at Saint Victurnien station… Saint Victurnien, 3 minutes stop”.

A short 4.5 km loop, this walk will take you through the village and along the banks of the River Vienne to the leisure centre – all the more reason to spend a day on the spot. Whether you’re coming from Saint Junien, Limoges, Aixe-sur-Vienne or Angoulême, line 18 offers you a choice of timetables for an outing at your own pace.

2. Around St-Léonard-de-Noblat station

With line 26 - Limoges-Ussel

“Passengers travelling to Saint Léonard de Noblat are asked to make a gourmet stop at the Maison du Massepain”.

From Limoges, Ussel, Eymoutiers or any other stop on line 26, the TER will take you on a 3.8 km tour of the medieval town. Stroll through the picturesque narrow streets, looking up at the collegiate church, and visit the Gay-Lussac museum along the way.

With line 26 - Limoges-Ussel

TER train number 87 to Eymoutiers, departing at 10.15 am, will leave from the “petite cité de caractère®”.

The architecture and history of this village await you as you step off the train! This 3.3 km route will introduce you to the town and its treasures, including the 13th-century collegiate church… A beautiful viewpoint over the town is the ideal place to sample pelauds, a local speciality that’s a must-taste!

With line 18 - Angoulême-Limoges

“Ladies and gentlemen, you have arrived at Aixe-sur-Vienne station. Don’t forget to do your shopping at the Maison de la Porcelaine.

As soon as you leave the station, you’re on the banks of the Vienne. This 5.2 km walk will take you through the town centre and the lovely Arliquet site, with its park, chapel and ponds. Take the opportunity to visit the Maison de la Porcelaine, which we’re sure you won’t leave empty-handed!

“Ladies and gentlemen, your attention please. When you get off the train, please take the avenue de la gare and walk 650 metres to the start of your tour , place de la Collégiale”.

The town and surrounding area of Le Dorat, this Petite Cité de Caractère®, will delight you with its typical Limousin architectural heritage. Visit the famous collegiate church with its magnificent stained-glass windows. This 5.7 km loop will give you a breath of fresh air, in the heart of landscapes and panoramas that are 100% Haute-Vienne.
