The Musée national Adrien Dubouché in Limoges is fully accessible to people with reduced mobility. Visits and lectures are offered to disabled visitors, focusing on the discovery of materials and the museum’s masterpieces. Porcelain painting workshops can also be organized by prior arrangement. Finally, throughout the year, tactile conferences for the visually impaired are organized in collaboration with the Association Valentin Haüy.
2. The house of gold in Limousin
Gold in your handsThe Maison de l’Or invites you to delve into the history of gold in Limousin, from the time of the Gauls to the present day, exploring in particular the history of the Bourneix Mine, which operated at Le Chalard from 1982 to 2002.
The exhibition space features antique objects, panels, equipment and videos to immerse you in the atmosphere of the mine. You can also discover the evolution of gold mining techniques through the ages, as well as the geology area highlighting the region’s gold deposits.

Hauts de TardoireThe Voie Verte des Hauts de Tardoire lies in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional Périgord Limousin, offering an opportunity to discover the rich cultural, natural and historical heritage of the Haute-Vienne.
You can admire sites such as Château Châlus Chabrol, the Tardoire valley, the hemp dryer and the washhouse …. The only one of its kind in Haute-Vienne and Limousin, this Voie Verte stretches over 13 kilometers between Châlus and Oradour sur Vayres, offering an unspoilt environment where rollerbladers, people with reduced mobility (with adapted equipment), hikers and cyclists can enjoy a pleasant, safe walk.
