This locomotive was used in the famous film “The 7th Company” 🎬

The history of the locomotive

Built in 1919, this 140 C38 locomotive was used during the 1st World War.

It was also taken by the Germans during the 2nd World War and brought back to France in 1950.

Restored for over 15 years by the C.F.T.L.P association (Conservatoire Ferroviaire Territoires Limousin Périgord), a team of enthusiasts, it is now their pride and joy!

A unique experience

During the journey?

You can enjoy the scenery as it unfolds, accompanied by explanations of what you’ll be discovering along the way: plenty to learn about the destination!

The troupe “Les Baladins du Limousin” is also on hand to set the mood in the carriages, giving you a change of scenery and sending you straight back to the old days!

A little bonus: there’s a souvenir shop in one of the carriages, with adorable staff, and the charm of the era can be found in every nook and cranny of the locomotive: a unique experience, 100% appreciated by passengers!
