The Centre International de la Caricature, du Dessin de Presse et d’Humour in Saint-Just-le-Martel is an iconic venue dedicated to promoting graphic satire.
Founded in 1979, the event has been held every year for over 40 years, playing a major role in bringing together over 150 world-renowned artists and cartoonists.
As well as its annual show, the centre organises exhibitions, shows and meetings throughout the year. It is a hotbed of creativity and dialogue, encouraging exchanges between artists of different nationalities.
As such, it remains a key venue where humour and graphic satire are celebrated, sparking reflection and the exchange of ideas on a global scale.
The Centre International is entirely devoted to exploring the singular and captivating arts of caricature, press cartoons and humour.
There are temporary exhibitions and two annual exhibitions, offering the public a year-round opportunity to discover these complex but deeply fascinating arts.
