An exceptional setting

Want to learn more about the history of this castle? We’ll tell you all about it! 🤭

Château de Losmonerie, built in 1540 by Jean Chantois, elected for the King, embodies the spirit of a Renaissance country house, with its tower, staircase, gallery and chapel 🏰.

In the 17th century, Jean de Lubersac fitted out the courtyard, and in the 18th century, the Texandier de Losmonerie family, officers of the Limoges Finance Office, enriched the interior with tapestries and furniture listed as Monuments Historiques, as well as refined pictorial decor ✨.

Around the château, 3 gardens unfold:

  • A formal, flower-filled garden,
  • A gourmet garden housing France’s largest collection of raspberries with over 100 varieties,
  • A wild garden on the banks of the Vienne with a wicker hut designed by Emmanuel Puybonnieux 🌸.
