Let’s go for an unforgettable weekend with friends in Haute-Vienne! 🎒Start off at the Gîte de Chabanne in Saint-Sylvestre, a former farmhouse nestled in the heart of the Monts d’Ambazac that can accommodate up to 14 people. Here, comfort and well-being coexist with authentic charm… 🌊 As soon as you’ve dropped off your suitcases, you’re ready to let off some steam at Lac de Saint-Pardoux, just 5 km away! You’ll find as many activities as you like, but for a laugh with friends, we recommend the aquapark and its thrills, and the canoe / paddle, which is quieter but just as much fun! 😋 For dinner, treat yourself to theAuberge des trois clochers in Saint-Léger-la-Montagne, 15 minutes from your accommodation. A warm setting and fresh, seasonal produce will delight you! 💆‍♀️ After a busy day, take advantage of the gîte’s spa, hammam and sauna to relax and recharge your batteries. 🏰 How about kicking off the day with a cultural visit? You won’t be disappointed with the Château du Chambon in Bersac-sur-Rivalier! The owners will guide you through this 15th and 16th century seigniorial residence. Prepare to be amazed! 🍽️ And now, off to Limoges! We start by choosing your restaurant from our top 10 for lunch, which may also inspire you for dinner. 🤩 In the afternoon, discover the coolest corners of the city in 2 hours: don’t hesitate to get in touch with the tourist office for a guided tour where the old Limoges will reveal itself to you! Then, you can’t miss a visit to the famous Bijou madeleines… don’t hesitate to take some home, they’re addictive! 🎳 In the evening, let’s have some fun! For a moment of laughter with friends, there’s nothing like bowling in Limoges. Or, if you’re in a festive mood, choose one of our 5 favorite atmospheric bars in Limoges 🍻

A forest getaway before you leave...

Our stay is coming to an end, but the Haute-Vienne has not yet said its last word! 🌲 There’s nothing like a stroll through some incredible trees to let off some steam… Then head for the Arboretum de la Jonchère Saint-Maurice, a veritable open-air museum! Enjoy a 1.6 km trail among over 250 species of trees from every continent, to be discovered with the “Arboretum de la Jonchère 87” app. 🥯 And because walking is exhausting, we’re sure you’ll enjoy a little brunch with friends before hitting the road again!
