Immerse yourself in the past

Built during the Renaissance for the “chosen one for the king” Jean Chantois, the Château de Losmonerie was acquired by a family around 1760, whose descendants still own the premises today.

Its style and decoration have remained intact since the 18th century, and you can admire the magnificent Aubusson tapestries designed especially for the château and listed as a Monument Historique.

Magnificent gardens

Three beautiful gardens surround the Château de Losmonerie… The flower garden will take you on a romantic journey, among the many species, including irises, dahlias and roses, to name but a few… 🌹

The gustatory walk will take you among the 100 varieties of raspberries on the site, making for a moment as pleasant as it is appetizing 😋

Beneath the château’s terrace, let yourself be surprised by a charming landscape that the Vienne itself has shaped: small islands and waterfalls can be observed from a large wicker hut 👀
