Mélusine Masson and Matthieu Buis produce cheese from the milk of their Basco-Béarnaise and Manech tête noire ewes, hardy breeds from the Pyrénées-Atlantiques region. After learning from the know-how of the Béarn estives, they returned to Haute-Vienne to offer us fresh cheeses, Ossaud'ici (ewe's milk tomme) and yoghurts. Milking is done by hand in the sheepfold or on the meadows bordering the Gartempe river. They also offer suckling lamb and grass-fed lamb.
