TersannesLocated in Tersannes, Les Vergers de L’Aumaillerie welcomes you to a family-run farm for a friendly, flavour-filled harvest. Depending on the season, you can pick apples, pears, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and cherries from our 32 hectares of orchards. The picking season opens in May with the first strawberries and closes in November with the last apples.
Seasonal fruit awaits you in an idyllic setting, ideal for a family outing, where young and old can discover the pleasure of harvesting their own fruit, to the rhythm of the seasons. It’s guaranteed to be a moment of sharing and indulgence!

- Since 2010, the Jaudinot family has been welcoming you to Chez ma Pomme, the orchard’s crêperie, and offering an authentic crêperie menu that showcases farm produce and the tastes of our Limousin terroir.
- Les Vergers de l’Aumaillerie is also an educational farm!
Blueberries and berries
Bussière-GalantIn Bussière-Galant, not far from the Espace Hermeline, Bertrand Callens offers you the chance to come and pick tasty berries on his farm in the summer: blueberries, blackberries, blackcurrants and redcurrants. Working to the rhythm of the seasons, his fruit will be ripe when nature decides. Depending on the year: from late June to mid-July. So before you go, be sure to contact him to make sure the fruit is ripe and that he’s on the spot. Don’t forget to bring your own containers.
Other products on offer include jams and coulis, and snails with parsley or Roquefort cheese.

Flavignac or Saint-Laurent les EglisesIn the heart of Texon Tulipes‘ colourful fields, enjoy a floral experience for all the family. Picking flowers in the freedom of vibrantly coloured fields is an ideal activity for a family outing! Depending on the season, you’ll find tulips (throughout April and May), dalhias (from mid-June), gladioli and sunflowers (from mid-August).
To pick these different varieties of flowers on a self-service basis, go to Flavignac (Texon) or Saint-Laurent les Eglises. Children will be amazed by the diversity of the flowers, and parents can take home a bouquet of fresh flowers to brighten up their home. It’s a simple, natural moment of joy to share together!
The gardens of Château de Losmonerie
Aixe-sur-VienneDiscover the largest raspberry garden in France, at Château de Losmonerie, a real paradise for food lovers! With over 100 varieties from all over the world, you’ll have the chance to taste yellow, orange, purple and pink raspberries , old and new varieties alike. Each one offers a unique and surprising flavour. Bring your own containers and when the raspberry season is in full swing (usually at the end of June), you can pick the fruit you fancy and leave with part of the harvest (half for you, half for the gardens). A lovely souvenir to enjoy at home!
And the experience doesn’t stop there: in the shop, you’ll find ice creams, jams and fruit jellies made from the garden’s fruit, perfect for extending this gourmet moment 🍧🍬

Saint-PaulFancy spending a Sunday morning in the fresh air and savouring fresh produce? From mid-May to mid-October, head to the Coudert des Charmilles every Sunday morning. Depending on the season, you’ll find plenty of red berries to pick: strawberries and raspberries first, followed by blueberries, blackcurrants and redcurrants. At the end of the season, raspberries and strawberries take centre stage once again. And for a flowery souvenir, you can also pick magnificent bouquets of flowers. It’s the ideal family activity for combining fun, discovery and local delicacies.

Beaumont-du-LacNestling in the heart of what’s known as the “Little Canada” of the Haute-Vienne, near Lac de Vassivière, Le Verger d’Hyvernaud invites you to come and pick bilberries in August. These delicious little blue-purple berries have a mild, slightly sweet flavour! 😋A delightful summer outing, combining the scent of ripe fruit with the beauty of the landscape.

Saint-Genest-sur-RoselleLa ferme de Fardissou is undoubtedly a welcoming place where you feel good! The products are high quality and healthy, produced in a protected environment rich in biodiversity. Patricia and Gérard produce birch sap, birch sap-based cosmetics, natural and flavoured sunflower oil and camelina oil, as well as raspberries and bilberries! Raspberries are picked from June to October (more or less depending on the season) and bilberries are generally picked in August. To find out about picking days, which are fixed each week depending on the weather, contact them. It’s a great way to discover local produce and give the whole family a treat!
Les Vergers de Claud
EymoutierSet on a wooded hillside, Les Vergers de Claud is a paradise for berry lovers. You’ll find blueberries, redcurrants, blackcurrants and blackberries. Depending on the year, picking at Les Vergers de Claud can start from late June to mid-July, and usually ends in late August or early September. The best thing to do is contact them before you come. Whether you’re with the family, on your own or with friends, this pick-your-own activity will give you a chance to relax and get back to basics.
