The Banneix farm is a typical Limousin farm where Limousin cattle and ready-to-cook free-range poultry are raised.
The farm sells chickens, guinea fowl and festive poultry (capons, turkeys, poulardes) at the end of the year.
Products are sold on request by appointment on Friday or Saturday mornings (poultry must be ordered by Wednesday at the latest).
You can find the GAEC de Banneix at the Place des Bancs market in Limoges on Saturday mornings, and at the Jourgnac market on the 3rd Friday of the month from 4pm.
The Banneix farm has the "Bienvenue à la ferme" label. It accepts "mangez fermier" gift vouchers as part of the operation initiated by the Haute-Vienne Chamber of Agriculture to promote short distribution channels.
