From the Santrop parking lot, follow the signs to the village of the same name, then let yourself be guided by the yellow markers. The Lac de Saint-Pardoux hiking trails will take you to the Santrop bridge. Cross it, and before you know it, you’ll have completed a 7 km circuit.
A richly rewarding hike awaits you, between the changing reflections of the lake, the soothing woods and the discreet charm of the Limousin landscapes 🍃
2. Silord circuit
RazèsLooking for other ideas for walks and hikes in and around Lac de Saint-Pardoux? The Silord à Razès circuit is well worth a visit. This 6 km loop starts from Place André Dufraisse, in the heart of the village. 🥾
All along this hiking trail, you’ll discover a rich local heritage: the XIIᵉ century Romanesque church, the Maison Berry classified as a Historic Monument, and the small rural village of Silord.
The path alternates between undergrowth, quiet streams and traces of ancient agricultural crops. A peaceful, rejuvenating stroll, ideal for soaking up the soul of the area. 🌿


3. Little Ritord loop
Lac de Saint-PardouxLa Petite Boucle du Ritord, one of Lac de Saint-Pardoux’s hiking trails, offers a 4.6 km walk full of discoveries.
Along the way, you’ll pass the lively beaches of Santrop and Chabannes, take a contemplative break at the Maison du Lac, then climb to the belvedere to admire breathtaking panoramas. 🌅
The route then takes you to the village of Chabannes and its old mill, for a gentle end to the loop, between nature and local heritage. 🥾
4. Champ Communal circuit
Saint-Pardoux-le-LacThis is one of our not-to-be-missed hiking trails in Lac de Saint-Pardoux. Less than 10 km long, it starts in the village of Saint-Pardoux and quickly immerses you in a setting blending history and nature.
Along the way, admire the XIᵉ and XIIIᵉ century Romanesque church, pass the presumed XIIIᵉ medieval market hall, then let yourself be carried through hamlets and forests. The walk ends in style with a well-deserved break on Fréaudour beach.
