You’ll love the views over the lake, the countryside and the forest.
2. Castles and wonders of the West
33km cycling loopStarting in Oradour-sur-Vayres, this 33km cycle tour takes in the Ouest Limousin.
The itinerary takes in part of the voie verte, a former railway line that has been redeveloped for use by cyclists and pedestrians.
The loop takes in some of the châteaux along the Richard the Lionheart route. These include the Château de Brie in Champagnac-la-Rivière and its museum of automata, and the medieval Château de Montbrun in Dournazac.
Enjoy views over the Limousin countryside at the Grand Puyconnieux site.

Saint-Léonard de NoblatStarting from the tourist office in Saint-Léonard de Noblat, you can choose between two circuits of 32.2km or 41.2km to discover the town and its surrounding Limousin countryside.
You’ll be following the routes so loved by cyclist Raymond Poulidor.
4. Link route between Saint-Junien and Oradour-sur-Glane
42.5kmThe Saint-Junien-Oradour-sur-Glane loop takes you on a tour of the region’s most emblematic sites! (Re)discover the Corot site in Saint-Junien or the banks of the Vienne at Saint-Victurnien. This route alternates between small tree-lined roads and challenging climbs: electric bikes are recommended for the less sporty. Allow a full day to complete the loop. Leave early in the morning if you wish to visit the Martyr’s Village and the Centre de la Mémoire.
