A new 600 km cycling route has arrived in Haute-Vienne. 🚲

Previously called V93, it is now: La Vélidéale!

Starting from Lac de Vassivière to Saint-Nazaire, this cycling route will take you through Regional Natural Parks, including 2 in Limousin: the Millevaches Regional Natural Park and the Périgord-Limousin Regional Natural Park. 🍃

La Vélidéale connects to 10 other routes (cycling routes/EuroVelo routes) and also features a rail connection that allows you to join the route from several towns, including Limoges in Limousin.

A new cycling route is born: La Vélidéale!

From Lac de Vassivière to the Port of Saint-Nazaire or vice versa, this cycling route takes you on a journey mixing coastline, urban life, wild and scenic landscapes, as well as rolling hills.

Embark on a small or grand adventure of 600 km, or 124 km in Limousin from Lac de Vassivière to Rochechouart. 🚲🍃

Through La Vélidéale, we aim to introduce you to and help you appreciate our destination, taste our specialities, but not just any old way— with balance, softness, passion, and above all, respect.

This is what a “cyclo-positive” route means to us: a program of sustainable development and environmental education, all while pedaling, whether in challenge mode or at a relaxed pace.
