Les Zebrures d'automne in LimogesFrom 24 September to 4 October 2025

Les Zebrures d’automne in Limoges

Every autumn, Limoges becomes the theatre of the French-speaking world. Formerly known as ‘Francophonies’, this event highlights the richness and diversity of French-speaking cultures through theatre, dance, music and poetry. It’s a rich, daring event that’s open to the world, bringing together established artists and young talent from the four corners of the French-speaking world 🦓

A French-speaking trip to the four corners of the world

Each edition of Zébrures is an invitation to travel without leaving the outskirts of Limoges.

From Quebec to Lebanon, Senegal to Belgium, Haiti, Congo, Switzerland and Morocco, artists from the four corners of the French-speaking world share their stories, languages and imaginations 🌍

This mosaic of cultures is what makes the festival so rich: each show becomes a bridge between continents, offering audiences a unique, lively and profoundly universal experience.

Limoges, the festival's open-air stage

During the Les Zébrures festival, Limoges changes its face 🦓

Its theatres, squares and even streets are transformed into spaces for creation and encounters. Here, the city becomes a huge playground for artists, where every nook and cranny can be transformed into a stage. Between heritage and modernity, Limoges offers a unique setting that enhances the richness of French-language shows 🎭

Why is the Zébrures d'automne festival a must?

Because it’s the culmination of a whole year’s work, creation and passion! Behind each edition, there are twelve months of preparation in which French-speaking artists from all over the world imagine, rehearse and shape unique shows, specially designed to amaze audiences in the Limousin.

Les Zébrures isn’t just a festival: it’s a window on the world’s French-speaking community. Voices from Africa, America, Europe and the Caribbean resonate in Limoges to share their stories, their cultures and their sensibilities 🪘
