Located in the west of the Haute-Vienne department, between the Basse Marche and Vienne plateaus, the Monts de Blond site forms a small mountain isolated in the countryside. This granite massif is the department's most extensive site, and is of multiple interest: prehistoric, historical, legendary, natural, ecological, architectural and landscape. The last massif to the west of the Massif Central, the site is formed by a granite bar running east-west, stretching for some ten kilometers. This main chain, culminating at 514m, clearly dominates the surrounding plateaus.
