The Butte de Frochet is a unique landscape site, whose constitution is linked to the largest quartz outcrop in the region. Part of the site is made up of a vast chaos of boulders offering a view over the Charente Limousine. The rest of the site follows a ridge line, with dry moorland in various stages of development.
