Whether they have been awarded the “Pavillon Bleu” or “Station Pêche” labels, are listed sites or are simply ideal for relaxation, discover our selection of developed lakes in Haute-Vienne.

Le Lac Plaisance, in Saint Hilaire les Places

A 37-hectare site awarded the Pavillon Bleu label

Fewer than 200 lakes in France have been awarded the , Pavillon Bleu label and Lac de Plaisance is one of them! It’s a must for swimming in Haute-Vienne!

In summer, enjoy the waterslide and diving board, the miniature golf course and supervised beach, pedal boat and paddleboat hire. The campsite also offers a wide range of cultural and sporting activities.

All year round, take to the hiking and mountain-biking trails, take part in sunday fishing events or, for the more enthusiastic, in the carp enduros organized throughout the season.

The site is accessible to the disabled, and there is a tiralo for those with reduced mobility.

Lac de Sagnat in the heart of the Monts du Limousin

Site classified as a Natural Zone of Ecological, Faunistic and Floristic Interest

In summer, a dip in the cool waters of the lake is a must, but you can also take a sunbathing break on the pontoon installed last summer to the delight of bathers!

For more exercise, take a 3.5 km walk along the shoreline and enjoy the arboreal interpretation trail. Other activities await you for the enjoyment of young and old alike: a playground with climbing wall, slide, swing and body-building equipment! Not forgetting the bowling green and City Park!

Lake Sainte Hélène

In Bujaleuf, awarded the "Station Verte" and "Station Pêche" labels

At Lake Sainte-Hélène, you can enjoy a wide range of activities throughout the season: from supervised swimming in summer, to water sports and outdoor activities with hiking trails and a Terra Aventura course! Not forgetting canoe and mountain bike hire, etc. On the partly shaded beach, enjoy the children’s playground, zip-line, volleyball court, etc.

The Station Pêche label makes it a fisherman’s paradise! There are several fishing pontoons, two of which are accessible to disabled people and those with reduced mobility, as well as a family-friendly fishing trail.

The Espace Hermeline lake

Soak up the sun on the Espace Hermeline’s half-sand, half-grass beach, where bathing is supervised in summer.

The Pavillon Bleu-labeled site boasts a number of facilities designed to minimize the impact of tourist traffic. These actions contribute to achieving sustainable development objectives through safe, ethical and sustainable environmental management, responsible water and waste management, and environmental education and awareness.

Located in Flavignac, the lake is ideal for relaxation!

Enjoy supervised swimming in summer, as well as a children’s playground, pétanque court, hiking trail, picnic tables and more. And for fishing enthusiasts, there’s seasonal fishing.

The Videix lake

Downstream of the Charente source

Behind the Lavaud dam, an immense lake forms. Its peaceful waters are ideal for a multitude of leisure activities (sailing, fishing, etc.). Its shores and beaches are ideal for hiking and swimming.

There are children’s playgrounds, a picnic area and pedal boats for hire.

Swimming is permitted in summer.
