Étang de Masselièvre

Nestled in a wooded valley in the commune of La Chapelle Montbrandeix, this is a place of perfect serenity where anglers, walkers and nature lovers come to enjoy the calm and unspoilt environment. With a great deal of patience, you can observe a rich and diverse fauna: the green frog, the dragonfly calopterix virgo méridionalis, the genet, the white-collared buzzard, the roe deer and sometimes even the doe or the stag. Numerous hiking trails are accessible from the site. You can also discover a hardwood hut.
