"Sample comme bonjour" is an exhibition organized by the Sans plus art collective. By presenting artists from the ENSAD, it responds to a desire to highlight a local scene. The word sample, taken from the lexicon of the DJ sphere, is an Anglicism whose origins lie in the sampling of sound recordings, cut up and reassembled to create a new production.
The title of the exhibition emphasizes the desire to find elements to re-use in the material, whether sound, language or iconography.
The opening on Friday February 6 will feature a sound performance, a dialogue between the practice of ceramic artist Adèle Gervaise and musician Fanny Marcon. Light refreshments will be available on site.
